Among the rolling hills of the Beckett Ridge Subdivision is the Beckett Ridge Golf Club. The 18 hole golf course was designed by golf architect Jack Kidwell. The golf course has always been highly ranked in Southwestern Ohio. The greens and fairways are very well maintained.

The Beckett Ridge Golf Club is open to the public. Fees can range from $25 to $50 depending on the day, time of day and specials. The rates are subject to change. Rates include cart but not taxes. Proper attire is required. Each golf player must have one golf bag and set of clubs. The Beckett Ridge Golf Club also has a pro shop, golf range, grille and bar.

There are many benefits of becoming a member at Beckett Ridge. There are currently no initiation fees, food and beverage minimums or assessments. You can play unlimited golf all year with no green fees. There are member only tournaments, 14 day advanced tee times and you get full use of the locker rooms. As a member of the golf club you can combine your membership with the new fitness center.

Start your weekend early this Thursday, August 14th at After Hours On The Square. Head to 9285 Centre Point Drive West Chester from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm to hear Zack Attack perform. They will entertain you with music from the 90’s. Only two more shows after this. Don’t miss out!

Friday, August 15th the Art Council of West Chester-Liberty hosts a production of the Cincinnati Shakespeare Company. They will perform William Shakespeare’s “MacBeth” at the Keehner Park Amphitheatre. The performance is free. Concessions will be offered before the show beginning at 6 pm and during intermission. The performance begins at 6:30 pm at 7211 Barrett Road West Chester.

Beginning at 9 am Saturday morning the 16th, stroll through the West Chester’s Farmers Market. Purchase locally grown produce, locally made baked goods and other products and plants. The market is open until 1:00 pm with fresh coffee and food samples at 9100 West Chester Towne Center Drive. This week the West Chester Fire Department will have their smoke house set up.

Next, head over to 8070 Tylersville Road West Chester Ohio for a Tour of the National Voice Of America Museum of Broadcasting. The museum features displays of the Grey History of Wireless Museum and Media Heritage. Tours are held the third Saturday of every month from 1 pm – 4 pm. Cost is $5 for adults and $1 for children under 12 years of age.

Complete your day by heading back to Keehner Park for the West Chester Concert Series. The P&G Big Band will be playing from 7:00 – 9:00 pm at the Keehner Park Amphitheatre located at 7211 Barrett Road. The concert is free. Pack a picnic and enjoy the sounds of big band music under the stars.
