The Lowry Team Keller Williams Is Excited For The Butler County Fair

The Lowry Team - Butler County FairThe 164th Butler County Fair begins July 20th and runs through July 26th, 2014.  The fair is held at the Butler County Fairgrounds, 1715 Fairgrove Avenue Hamilton Ohio 45011. On Sunday, July 20th the fairgrounds are open from noon until 11 pm.  Hours for the remainder of the Butler County Fair are 8 am – 11 pm.  General admission for the fair is $7 and includes parking.  The charge for children ages 6-12 is only $2 with a paying adult. Multiple day passes are also available and include parking.  Some of the events that you can enjoy at the Butler County Fair are dog shows, sheep and bunny shows and livestock exhibits.  In the food category there will be decorated cakes and candy judging, honey judging, bake offs and more.  Be entertained by tractor pulls and demolition derbies and take part in the annual corn hole tournament.  For a complete list of activities and times go to the Butler County Fair’s website, www.butlercountyohfair.org.

4th of July in Cincinnati OhioThe 4th of July is generally celebrated with barbecues, fireworks and parades.  But where is the best place to celebrate the 4th of July?  Wallethub.com performed a study to discover which American city was indeed the best place to celebrate July 4th.  They looked at the 100 largest cities in the country and graded then weighted them in 14 different areas.  Some of the areas include the weather, the price of hotel rooms, the legality of fireworks and swimming pools per capita.

Richmond, Virginia came in 1st place.  This city ranked the highest in food, entertainment, attractions and weather.  Irvine, California came in second then in 3rd place is our own city of Cincinnati!  Cincinnati ranked high in the areas of weather, entertainment and food. Some of the worst places to celebrate the 4th of July?  Anchorage, Alaska, Louisville, Kentucky and Toledo, Ohio were all towards the bottom of the list.

A few activities taking place on the 4th of July are a Reggae Concert on Fountain Square and fireworks at Ault Park Thousands of people will be attending Red, White and Blue Ash.  This event features national bands live on stage and fireworks.  The Fourth of July fireworks at Kings Island in Mason Ohio is also a very popular event.

Carriage Hill Carriage Hill was ranked in 2013 as one of the top three fastest growing communities for new building permits in the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area. Carriage Hill subdivision is located in Liberty Township, Ohio. The subdivision is made up of smaller “neighborhoods”: The Trails, Sycamore Point, and Oak Reserve. 2014 will see two new neighborhoods developed with 58 new homes, ranging in price from $450,000-$2.2 million.

Carriage Hill was the location for Homearama 2013, and will again be the location for Homearama 2014. This year’s show will be held within the Oak Reserve neighborhood, showcasing 10 beautiful homes.  The homes in the show range in price from $1,000,000 – $2,300,000 and range in square footage from 5,000 square feet to 12,000 square feet. The homes sit on .50 acre lots and larger.

This month was the grand opening of a brand new clubhouse and pool facility for residents enjoyment.  Construction is also underway on Cypress Village in Carriage Hill. The Lowry Team 4th of July FireworksLaRosa’s Balloon Glow at Coney Island is being held on July 3rd.  Coney Island is located at 6201 Kellogg Avenue Cincinnati Ohio 45230.  The fireworks display will take place at 10 pm.  Both the fireworks and balloons are free.  Normal rates apply for the pool and rides.  Parking is $7 before 2:00 pm then increases to $10 after 2 pm.

Fountain Square is the site for the 4th of July Bash.  Enjoy a free Reggae concert then fireworks at 10 pm.  Fountain Square is located at 520 Vine Street Cincinnati Ohio 45202.

Independence Day Fireworks begin July 4th at 10 pm at Ault Park, located at 3600 Observatory Avenue Cincinnati, Ohio 45208.  Music and concessions begin at 6 pm.

Red, White and Blue Ash is being held from 4 pm until 10:30 pm on the Fourth of July.  Events take place at Summit Park, 4335 Glendale Milford Road Blue Ash, Ohio 45242.  Midnight Special takes the stage at 5:30 pm then Cheap Trick at 8:15 pm.  Fireworks display is at 10 pm.
