Easter Egg Hunts in Cincinnati 2016

This year Easter falls on Sunday, March 27th, and there’s plenty of fun ideas for things to do for Easter in Cincinnati! Check out this list of Easter egg hunts, places to get pictures with the Easter Bunny, and unique Easter Brunch ideas!

Easter Egg Hunts:

Easter Bunny Express – March 19th-20th, 25th-26th – Ride the Easter Bunny Express to the LM&M Junction for a visit with the Easter Bunny and Farmer Brown. All children will receive a special gift, and will be able to take part in an Easter Egg hunt. There will also be a photographer present.

Voice of America Eggstravaganza – March 20th -Celebrate the arrival of Spring with Mr. E. Bunny at Voice of America at the Ronald Reagan Lodge. There will be a yummy buffet, crafts, activities and a visit & pictures with Mr. Bunny. Reservations suggested. Some walk ups may be able to be accommodated if space allows.

Deerfield Township Easter Egg Hunt – March 26th – Enjoy this FREE events with booths, activities, giveaways, face painting and more! There will be visits with the Easter Bunny, and of course, Easter Egg hunts!

Keehner Park Easter Egg Hunt – March 26th – This is another FREE community event in West Chester! Bring a bag or basket to collect eggs! This even is open to children up to 8 years old. There will be prizes given out for each age group.

Fairfield Township Easter Egg Hunt – March 19th – A FREE Easter Egg Hunt open to children ages 0-12. There will be hunts separated by age groups.

Fairfield’s Eggstravaganza – March 19th – At Harbin Park, enjoy an Easter Egg Hunt, pictures with the Easter Bunny, games, crafts, and prizes! There will be separate hunts for 3 different age groups up to 8 years old. Starts at 10:30AM.

Lakota Family YMCA Egg Hunt – March 26th – Liberty Township’s YMCA will be having age group Easter Egg hunts for the children and families of the community. There will be prizes available!

Lebanon Countryside YMCA Lunch with the Easter Bunny – March 23rd – Enjoy lunch with Easter Bunny, decorate eggs, and more!

Flashlight Egg Hunt – March 25th – Check out Hamilton’s Forest Run nighttime egg hunt! When the sun goes down, grab your flashlight and basket for a unique Easter Egg Hunt experience! There will be prizes, activities, and visits with the Easter Bunny.

Newport Aquarium’s Easter Eggstravaganza – March 26th – Enjoy a special Easter dive show, Easter-themed games, an egg hunt, and more!

Cincinnati Zoo’s Easter Celebration – March 26th – There will be treat stations throughout the zoo, animal egg hunts, visits with the Easter Bunny, and more! There will also be 4 special Golden Eggs hidden throughout the park, which can be turned into the Welcome Center for a prize!

Hidden Valley Fruit Farm’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt – March 26th – The popular Lebanon farm will hold its 4th annual Easter Egg Hunt with thousands of eggs to find, live music, kiddie train rides, and more!

Easter Egg Hunt at Washington Park – March 26th – Over-the-Rhine’s biggest egg hunt returns to Washington Park with over 7,500 candy-filled eggs, face painting, and photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny. For ages 3-12. This event is also FREE.

Easter Egg Hunt at Devou Park – March 26th – Hop across the river for a FREE Easter Egg Hunt for ages 3-12.

Pictures with the Easter Bunny:

Easter Bunny Photos at The Liberty Center – March 12th – 26th – You can get pictures taken with the Easter Bunny at The Liberty Center. There will also be fun Easter activities and giveaways!

Pictures with the Easter Bunny at Kenwood Mall – March 4th – 26th – Hop on over to visit with the Easter Bunny and get pictures taken with him!

Easter Brunch:

BB Riverboat Easter Cruises – March 27th – Celebrate Easter and enjoy the spring weather. Climb aboard a Riverboat for one of their annual Easter cruises including a delicious buffet meal, relaxing atmosphere and outstanding views. You can enjoy a hearty brunch or a traditional Easter dinner featuring ham and chicken. Even the Easter Bunny will attend! There are several different cruises throughout Easter Sunday.

Union Centre Food Truck RallyUnion Centre Food Truck Rally 2016

The annual Union Centre Food Truck Rally will happen again this summer at its usual West Chester location – The Square at Union Centre (9285 Centre Pointe Drive).

It has been announced that it will take place on Friday, August 12th, 11:00 AM – 10:30 PM.

There will be over 35 food trucks offering a variety of delicious foods ranging from Korean BBQ and gourmet grilled cheese, to cupcakes and gelato. There will also be live music for all to enjoy!

To give you an idea of what will be there, here is a list of the food trucks that were in attendance last year:

So if you are looking for fun ways to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in Cincinnati, you’ve come to the right place! Cincinnati St. Patrick’s Day Parade – Saturday, March 12th in downtown Cincinnati at noon there will be the annual St Patty’s Day Parade! The parade is held rain, snow, or shine!

Kegs and Eggs with Moerlein Lager House – Saturday March 12th at 9AM head over to Moerlein Lager House for some kegs and eggs before the big parade!

Shamrock Shuffle – West Chester Ohio’s annual Shamrock Shuffle will take place this year on Saturday, March 19th. Check-in and registartion is at 7AM. You will have your choice of 5K or 10K, and there will be breakfast, t-shirts, and more!

Fountain Square St Patrick’s Day Celebration – Festivities will take place Saturday, March 12th and Thursday, March 17th. There will be live music, food, beer and more!

Brazenhead Irish Pub St. Patrick’s Day Party – Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in Mason at Brazenhead Irish Pub where there will be live music all day.

Liberty Center St. Patrick’s Day Celebration – The Liberty Center in Liberty Township is having an all day party with music, Irish dancers, giveaways, and more!

Krohn by Candlelight – Experience the magic of Krohn Conservatory by candlelight. Bring your Valentine to the Conservatory for a romantic candlelight event with chocolate, crafts, and some great atmosphere.

Valentine’s Day Murder Mystery Dinner Show – The largest murder mystery show in the United States is putting on a special Valentine’s Day interactive murder mystery dinner show at the Millennium Hotel. This event takes place on Saturday, February 13th from 6:00PM – 9:30PM.

Valentine’s Day Skate with Your Date -Fountain Square presents a special event for Valentine’s Day in Cincinnati. Music, prizes, and a 2-for-1 skate deal provide a great way to celebrate Valentine’s Day without breaking the bank. Skate with Your Date is from 12PM – 9PM on February 14th.

My Furry Valentine – If you’re thinking of making a furry addition to your household this Valentine’s Day, you need to check out the 5th annual My Furry Valentine, Cincinnati’s largest pet adoption event. This event will run both Saturday the 13th and Sunday the 14th from 11AM to 5PM, with a Special Preview Time from 10AM-11AM. Over 40 shelters/rescues and over 500 pets will be featured, so you’re guaranteed to find the perfect pet for your family!  Every pet adopted will go home with a free goody bag filled with pet supplies and will be entered to win one of their raffle prize packages.
