Carriage Hill subdivision, located in Liberty Township, Ohio is once again the site of Homearama. Carriage Hill sprawls over a lush landscape of 400 acres with beautiful lakes, streams, walking paths and mature trees. This year’s Homearama showcases 10 beautiful homes. The homes in the show range in price from $1,000,000 – $2,300,000, range in square footage from 5,000 square feet to 12,000 square feet and sit on lots .50 acre and larger. The entire Lowry Team, Keller Williams Realty toured all 10 homes on Realtor Day.

The outdoor areas were popular with members of the team. “The water and fire feature at the Clayton house makes for a great addition to the perfect evening,” exclaimed Lisa Tesmer, Buyer Specialist for The Lowry Team. Buyer Specialist Jessica Lowry and Karen Burck, Director of Marketing both felt that the outdoor living spaces were their absolute favorite part! From pools & firepits, to outdoor kitchens & TVs, they had everything you could ask for with regards to outdoor entertaining! The men on the team took interest in the lower levels. Darryl Smith, Buyer Specialist for the team liked the lower level of Bella Noelle by Clayton Douglas Homes. This basement had a bar with a great trough built into the table for drinks, a poker room with remarkable detail on the walls and ceiling, a wine grotto and media room. The lower level of Villa Maribella by Justin Doyle Homes won over sports fan Eric Lowry, CEO and Listing Specialist for The Team. This home featured a sunken media room, game and billiards area, wine room and a basketball court. Lisa Lowry, Director of Client Care said, “I had the BEST time this year at Realtor Day at Homearama…beautiful day, good food, gorgeous homes, and our great team together! I thought that this year’s homes were some of the prettiest homes in years at Homearama. My favorites were the outside living area in one of the homes with the floating couch, fireplace, TV, grilling area, etc., the pools, the wine grottos, and the home with the fire pit at the rear of the yard. I’m ready to go home and do some remodeling and redecorating!” Homearama 2014 runs from now until July 27th. The show consists of homes built by deStefano Homes, The Leland Group, Robert Lucke Homes, M/I Homes, Justin Doyle Homes, Jack H. Wieland Builders, Hensley Custom Building Group, Daniels Homes, Clayton Douglas Homes, and Arthur Rutenberg Homes.The Home Builders Association of Greater Cincinnati has chosen Willows Bend to be the site of Homearama 2015. Willows Bend was the site of Homearama 2012 which was the the 50th anniversary of Homearama. There will be 15 homes sites at Willows Bend located just off Wards Corner Road in Miami Township, Clermont County. Homearama 2015 will run from July 11th – July 26th 2015.

The Lowry Team Keller Williams Is Excited For The Butler County Fair

The 164th Butler County Fair begins July 20th and runs through July 26th, 2014. The fair is held at the Butler County Fairgrounds, 1715 Fairgrove Avenue Hamilton Ohio 45011. On Sunday, July 20th the fairgrounds are open from noon until 11 pm. Hours for the remainder of the Butler County Fair are 8 am – 11 pm. General admission for the fair is $7 and includes parking. The charge for children ages 6-12 is only $2 with a paying adult. Multiple day passes are also available and include parking. Some of the events that you can enjoy at the Butler County Fair are dog shows, sheep and bunny shows and livestock exhibits. In the food category there will be decorated cakes and candy judging, honey judging, bake offs and more. Be entertained by tractor pulls and demolition derbies and take part in the annual corn hole tournament. The Lowry Team FOTO Friday – Fairfield Aquatic Center

The Fairfield Aquatic Center located at 2605 Augusta Boulevard Fairfield Ohio 45014 is a fabulous place to spend a hot summer day! The center consists of an eight lane lap pool, diving board, water slide, climbing wall, play structure and spray ground. The Fairfield Aquatic Center has concessions, offers party rentals, swim lessons and many special events.

One of the events is Kids Night Out. From 7 pm – 10 pm on July 26th kids between the ages of 8 and 17 can swim, listen to music, play games and have ice cream. The cost is $5 and is free to season pass holders.

August 16th is the next Movie Night at The Fairfield Aquatic Center. The event is held from 8 pm – 11 pm and features the movie Surf’s Up. Cost is $5 and is free for season pass holders.

August 30th – September 1st is the End of Summer Weekend. There will be a DJ on Saturday night from 3 pm – 8 pm. On Sunday enjoy brunch beginning at 11 am. Monday, September 1st there will be a picnic/grill out. Admission this weekend is half price.

The Fairfield Aquatic Center is open daily from 12 noon until 8 pm. Daily admission is $8 for ages 18 and over, $6 for ages 3 – 17 and free for 2 years old and under. The aquatic center offers military, group, senior and twilight discounts. Season passes are also available for purchase.

The Lowry Team Keller Williams – West Chester University

West Chester University is a series of informative programs designed to encourage communication between the government of West Chester Township and the residents and business owners of the community. There are a variety of classes ranging in topics from safety to wildlife management to video production. The Lowry Team will highlight a few of the programs that are presented by the West Chester Police and Fire Departments. Both departments work hard to make West Chester Ohio a better place to live.

The West Chester Fire Department offers CPR and First Aid classes every month. Some of the classes result in a required certification. Other programs are basic and are meant to better prepare individuals for emergency situations. There is a cost associated with the classes to cover the materials needed. Classes are held at Fire Station 71 on Cincinnati Dayton Road in West Chester.

The West Chester Police Department holds a Police Academy twice a year. The 10 week program gives participants a behind the scenes look at department operations. Topics include criminal and traffic investigations, evidence handling and processing, jail operations and much more. The academy is held at 9577 Beckett Road Suite 500 West Chester Ohio. Participants must be 21 years of age and complete an enrollment application.

Women’s self defense classes are being held by the West Chester Police Department. A Women’s S.A.F.E. Class begins August 4th. Class is held every Monday from 6 pm – 8 pm for 5 weeks. The 10 hour class includes self defense training and guided discussion on rape prevention and situational awareness. There will also be a S.M.A.R.T. Self-Defense Class on September 9th from 6 pm – 8 pm. This class will teach awareness and basic hands on self defense techniques. Both classes are free but space is limited. Coney Island, located at 6201 Kellogg Avenue Cincinnati Ohio 45230 is a fantastic place to spend the day with the family. Families can choose to go to Sunlite Pool or go on classic rides or both! Sunlite Pool is the largest flat surface pool in North America. It has over one acre of shallow water making it safe for little ones. There are diving boards and lap lanes in the deep end. The adventurous can experience many different types of water slides and those looking for rest and relaxation can rent a cabana. Showers and locker rooms are available at Sunlite Pool.

The Classic Rides section of Coney Island offers rides for families and for kids. Family rides include canoes, a ferris wheel, giant slides, a carousel, roller coaster and more. Kiddie Rides include boat and train rides, airplanes, helicopters and any other mode of transportation you can imagine!

Other features of Coney Island are an 18 hole miniature golf course, a Eurobungy Dome, an arcade and a kids sized western town. Entertainment includes live shows on Tuesdays and Fridays. Dances are held on Friday nights with a DJ for those that are 21 years old or older. There are a variety of different foods and beverages to choose from at Sunlite Pool and Classic Rides.

Coney Island now offers a day camp that you can register the little ones for. The next camp is Goo-ology on July 18th for kids 4 years old and older. Parents must register on line in advance as space is limited.

Coney Island can be rented for private parties, weddings and special events. They have birthday party packages and shelter areas that can be rented as well.

Coney Island is open daily from 10:00 am – 8:00 pm. The Sunlite Pool and Waterslides cost $13.95 for ages 5 and up and $4.95 for ages 2-4. Classic Rides bracelet costs $12.95 for ages 5 and up and $6.95 for ages 2-4. Families can also purchase tickets that combine the pool and rides. There are discounts tickets available on their website as well as after 4 pm. Parking at Coney Island is $8.

Beckett Ridge subdivisions include the neighborhoods of Allyn’s Greene, Amberwood, Beckett Crossing, Ironwood, Eagle Ridge North, Eagle Ridge South, Rupp Farm, Old Forest, The Retreat, Rollingwood, Saratoga Farms, The Woods of Beckett and Woodbridge. It also includes the condominium communities of The Meadows, Shepherd’s Farm, Mill Creek, The Village and Deer Run.
