Coney Island, located at 6201 Kellogg Avenue Cincinnati Ohio 45230 is a fantastic place to spend the day with the family. Families can choose to go to Sunlite Pool or go on classic rides or both! Sunlite Pool is the largest flat surface pool in North America. It has over one acre of shallow water making it safe for little ones. There are diving boards and lap lanes in the deep end. The adventurous can experience many different types of water slides and those looking for rest and relaxation can rent a cabana. Showers and locker rooms are available at Sunlite Pool.
The Classic Rides section of Coney Island offers rides for families and for kids. Family rides include canoes, a ferris wheel, giant slides, a carousel, roller coaster and more. Kiddie Rides include boat and train rides, airplanes, helicopters and any other mode of transportation you can imagine!
Other features of Coney Island are an 18 hole miniature golf course, a Eurobungy Dome, an arcade and a kids sized western town. Entertainment includes live shows on Tuesdays and Fridays. Dances are held on Friday nights with a DJ for those that are 21 years old or older. There are a variety of different foods and beverages to choose from at Sunlite Pool and Classic Rides.
Coney Island now offers a day camp that you can register the little ones for. The next camp is Goo-ology on July 18th for kids 4 years old and older. Parents must register on line in advance as space is limited.
Coney Island can be rented for private parties, weddings and special events. They have birthday party packages and shelter areas that can be rented as well.
Coney Island is open daily from 10:00 am – 8:00 pm. The Sunlite Pool and Waterslides cost $13.95 for ages 5 and up and $4.95 for ages 2-4. Classic Rides bracelet costs $12.95 for ages 5 and up and $6.95 for ages 2-4. Families can also purchase tickets that combine the pool and rides. There are discounts tickets available on their website as well as after 4 pm. Parking at Coney Island is $8.
