Join in RED Day with The Lowry TeamRED (Renew, Energize, and Donate) Day is a Keller Williams Realty service initiative dedicated to improving our local communities.

On May 10th, 2018 The Lowry Team will be participating in the annual Keller Williams Realty RED Day. RED Day is a day when Keller Williams Realty agents in the US and Canada donate one day to projects related to renewing and energizing their local communities.

We would love to have you join us in collecting and donating non-perishable food items and gently used clothing. We cannot thank you enough for joining us in our efforts to help Reach Out Lakota assist those in our community in need. Even a few items help ~ if everyone donates just a few items, just think how much we can collect all together!

On Thursday, May 10th, we ask that you leave your donations on your doorstep by 9:00 a.m. for our team to pick up that day.  Or if you would prefer you can make a monetary donation. The check must be made out to “Reach Out Lakota”.

Gives Back On Red Day

RED DayThe Lowry Team participated in Keller Williams annual RED Day. RED Day stands for Renew, Energize and Donate and is Keller Williams Realty’s annual day of service. Each year on the second Thursday of May, associates spend the day away from their businesses serving worthy organizations and causes in their communities. RED Day is just another example of our commitment to each other and to the cities and towns where we live and work. 

For the 5th annual RED Day, Keller Williams West Chester partnered with Transitional Living Center on Thursday, May 8, 2014. Transitional Living, Inc., a private, non-profit organization, is celebrating 33 years of serving Butler County residents with severe and persistent mental illnesses. The facility is located at 2052 Princeton Road, Hamilton, Ohio 45011 . The Transitional Living Center was designed to help rehabilitate those who are in need of continued treatment before being able to live independently in their community.

The Lowry Team worked together with other Keller Williams West Chester agents to paint interior rooms, clear honeysuckle and brush, till gardens, mulch and weed flower beds.  The Lowry Team enjoyed interacting with the employees and residents of the Transitional Living Center while they worked.  The Lowry Team prides itself on giving back to the community.  In addition to RED Day, The Lowry Team works with Reach Out Lakota, among other organizations throughout the year.

RED Day is a world-wide Keller Williams Realty service initiative dedicated to and focused on making positive impacts within our local communities.

For our 5th annual RED Day, Keller Williams West Chester has chosen to partner with Transitional Living Center on Thursday, May 8, 2014.  Transitional Living, Inc., a private, non-profit organization, is celebrating 33 years of serving Butler County residents with severe and persistent mental illnesses.  The facility is located at 2052 Princeton Road, Hamilton, Ohio 45011 .  The Transitional Living Center was designed to help rehabilitate those who are in need of continued treatment before being able to live independently in their community.

The Lowry Team plans to work together with other Keller Williams West Chester agents to replace carpet, paint interior rooms, stain two exterior buildings, clear honeysuckle and brush, till two gardens, mulch and weed flower beds .  Your help is needed!  Please consider a monetary or household item donation.  If you would like to make a monetary donation, please make checks payable to TLC, Inc.  Household items needed include cleaning supplies, toiletry and food pantry items.  Giving back to those in need in our community has always been a passion of ours and we thank you from the bottom of our  hearts for your support! Keller Williams Realty West Chester Ohio RED Day

RED (Renew, Energize, and Donate) Day is a Keller Williams Realty service initiative dedicated to improving our local communities. On May 10th, 2012 our local office will be participating in the 3rd Annual Keller Williams Realty RED Day. All Keller Williams associates in the US and Canada will donate this day to projects related to renewing and energizing their local communities.

This year, Keller Williams Associate Partners have chosen Reach Out Lakota to support in collecting donations.  Reach Out Lakota is a non-profit, community-sponsored organization that gives eligible families in West Chester and Liberty Township food and clothing.  No one can predict a layoff, a fire, or unfortunate event.  The economic downturn and cost of fuel has caused a financial crisis on some families who have never before had to ask for aid.  Reach Out Lakota helps our neighbors who have fallen on hard times. 

We cannot thank you enough for joining us in our efforts to help Reach Out Lakota assist those in our community in need. Please stop by our office at 7395 Kingsgate Way any weekday prior to Thursday, May 10th to drop off a donation.  Or if you would rather, we will pick up your donation on Thursday, May 10th ~ simply let us know that you will be donating, leave your donation on your front porch by 9:00 a.m. that morning, and we will be more than happy to pick it up from you on that day. 

Below is a list of the items that Reach Out Lakota is in need of.  We will also accept a monetary donation (tax deductible) ~ please make checks payable to Reach Out Lakota.  We are very excited about the Keller Williams Realty RED Day program and are confident that the success of this program will not only strengthen Keller Williams Realty and its culture across the nation, but also encourage others to donate their time for the benefit of our community. It’s Tuesday, so this must be the Tuesday Open House.

What is Tuesday Open House?? Well, it’s clearly not an “open house”. Open Houses don’t sell homes… good internet marketing does… but it seemed like a good title for this weekly blog post.

It is my way of throwing the doors open on the RealEstate-Ink.com blog and offering up a few quick articles and facts on real estate for the West Chester, Liberty Township, Beckett Ridge, Mason and Fairfield Township, Ohio areas. It is not intended to be all about homes for sale, but it will be about that some of the time…

Interest Rate Update:  Interest rates on a 30 year fixed rate mortgage continue to fluctuate a little day to day, but remain very low.  The rate on a 30 year fixed rate mortgage today was 4.85% with no points according to Third Federal Savings.  With rates continuing to be this low, the opportunities to move up to a new or larger home and not greatly increase your monthly payment are terrific.  By the way, the selection of homes to pick from is very good right now.  Thinking of buying a home in West Chester, Liberty Township, Beckett Ridge, Mason or Fairfield Township?  You can search homes for sale on our website at anytime, including features like map searches, saved search, new listing notifications and more!  Just visit www.LowryTeam.com. 

Home and Property Values:  This section of the Tuesday Open House seems a little like a comedy show.  Just today I saw both of these headlines and reports:

Headline: “Cincinnati metro home prices up 14.5% in 1Q”  – The National Association of Realtors   reported Tuesday that median home prices rose in Greater Cincinnati year over year during the first quarter, although they dropped from fourth-quarter 2009.  Read more: Cincinnati metro home prices up 14.5% in 1Q – Business Courier of Cincinnati:

Headline: “Zillow: Home prices still falling”  –  Housing values in Cincinnati and most U.S. metropolitan areas continued their decline into the first quarter, but a new report from researcher Zillow.com points to encouraging signs in some of the most battered markets, according to a report in Columbus Business First.  Read more: Business Courier of Cincinnati: Zillow: Home prices still falling
