The Lowry Team Keller Williams Realty Visit Local Farmers Markets
Members of The Lowry Team have had the opportunity to visit two farmers markets so far this Spring, Farmers markets are more than a place to pick up fresh, locally grown produce. It is a time for the community to gather together, visit and enjoy the beautiful weather.
Eric Lowry, CEO and Listing Specialist for The Lowry Team visited the West Chester Farmer’s Market. The market is open on Saturdays from 9 am – 1 pm at The Square, 9100 West Chester Towne Center Drive West Chester Ohio 45069. Some of the items to purchase are fresh produce, jams, meat, eggs and fresh salsa. Many vendors offer free samples to enjoy. Periodically, there are also guest chefs, artists and pet rescue organizations. The season runs from May 17th – October 11th.
Karen Burck, Marketing Director for The Lowry Team checked out the Wyoming Ohio Farmers Market. This marks the 8th season for the Wyoming market located at The Village Green on Wyoming Avenue. The market is open from 3 pm – 7 pm on Tuesdays. Local farms offer fresh fruits and vegetables. Other items that can be found are baked goods, honey, herbs, flowers, and coffee. Kids enjoy waffles from The Taste of Belgium and street pops made from fresh fruit and herbs. Fireside Pizza is a popular “grab and go,” dinner on the run with the local residents.
Both farmers markets have newsletters that you can subscribe to. They each also have options for their customers in the Winter months. West Chester moves the market inside Mulhauser Barn located at 8558 Beckett Road West Chester Ohio 45069. Wyoming has online order forms to pre-order then pick up beginning in November.
