The Lowry Team, Keller Williams Realty has found a number of fun events taking place around Butler County this weekend:

St. John’s Family Festival, located at 9080 Cincinnati Dayton Road West Chester Township Ohio, is taking place Friday through Sunday.  The festival will have games, food and entertainment for the whole family.  Popular local bands will perform each evening.  4th Day Echo performs Friday evening, DV8 plays Saturday night and Blue Stone Ivory is the featured band on Sunday.  The festival runs from 6 pm to midnight on Friday, 5 pm to midnight on Saturday and 4 pm – 10 pm on Sunday.

Saturday, August 2nd, Jungle Jim’s is hosting its first ever Wild For Pets Festival.  Bring your dog, cat, bird… to Jungle Jim’s between 11 am and 5 pm and sample wares from vendors, get free samples and advice on pet related subjects. Other activities include face painting, a petting zoo, live animal shows and a pet costume contest.  Local rescues and shelters will be there with pets available for adoption.  The festival costs $5 for adults and $1 for children. Tickets are available on line in advance for half that price.  A portion of the proceeds will go to several animal rescues and shelters. Uptown Oxford is hosting Dog Days and Taste of Oxford on Saturday from 10 am – 5 pm. Stroll through Uptown Oxford and shop the sidewalk sales, enjoy roasted corn and produce samples at the Oxford Farmer’s Market and watch a puppy parade.  Participants in the puppy parade should meet at the Visitor’s Bureau at 14 West Park Place Oxford.  Prizes will be given for the littlest, biggest and best dressed puppies.  Local restaurants will have tables and booths set up in Uptown Parks with items from their menus available to purchase.
