Here is a list of the most expensive home sales in Butler County from the last year. Butler County Ohio is an expansive area that includes West Chester, Liberty Township, Fairfield Township, Fairfield, Monroe, Hamilton, and more. Butler County has homes that fit every budget. From homes under $100,000 to over $1,000,000, there is something for everyone.

The luxury home market in 2020 picked up a bit compared to previous years. In 2020, there were 161 luxury home sales compared to 134 luxury home sales in Butler County in 2019. There were only 109 luxury home sales in 2018.

The current inventory of luxury homes for sale in Butler County is on par with the luxury home inventory levels in other similar areas, illustrating the fact that the Butler County luxury market is pretty healthy.

Only one of these luxury home sales was a new construction home, which was sold in the Carriage Hill Subdivision which was the location of the Homearama luxury home show in both 2013 and 2014. In previous years, a fairly large part of the activity in the Butler County luxury home market had been driven by new construction. That is not the case for 2020.

The Top Ten Most Expensive Butler County Home Sales in 2020 (see below) were sold in a range from $830,000 – $1,599,500. In 2019, the range was $830,000 – $1,500,000.  Of these ten home sales, 4 were in Carriage Hill, 1 was in Reserves of Providence, 1 was in Tylers Reserve, and 4 were not located in subdivisions.

Most Expensive Home Sales in Liberty Township 2016

Most Expensive Home Sales in Liberty Township 20162016 saw the luxury home market in Liberty Township Ohio continue at a steady pace.  There were 32 luxury home sales in Liberty Township in 2016, compared to 31 luxury home sales in 2015.

The inventory of luxury homes for sale in Liberty Township is quite high when compared to the amount of homes that are selling.  Based on the current rate of sales in the luxury market there is a 12 month supply of homes for sale.  Traditionally anything over 6 months worth of inventory is considered to be an oversupply favoring home buyers as opposed to favoring home sellers. A fairly large part of the activity in the Liberty Township luxury home market is being driven by new construction.

The Top Ten Most Expensive Home Sales in Liberty Township in 2016 (see below) were sold in a range from $750,000 – $1,275,000.  Of these ten home sales, 8 were in Carriage Hill, 1 was in Four Bridges, and 1 was not located in a subdivision.

Thursday, July 17th –

  • After Hours on the Square presents Midnight Special.  Concert runs from 6 pm – 9 pm at 9100 West Chester Towne Center Drive West Chester Ohio 45069.  Stop by for live music, beer, and fun!
  • Bridgewater Falls has their Farmers Market from 5 pm – 8 pm.  The market is held at the Village Pavilion, 3385 Princeton Road Fairfield Township Ohio 45011.

Friday, July 18th – 

  • The Cincinnati Pops Orchestra performs at Ameritas, 1876 Waycross Road Forest Park Ohio 45240. The Concert On The Green opens at 6 pm for lots of family fun including obstacle courses and a classic car show.  The orchestra performs from 8 pm – 10 pm and is followed by fireworks.  This event is free.
  • The Spicy Olive located at 7671 Cox Lane West Chester Ohio 45069 has a wine tasting on Fridays and Saturdays.  Go to their Uncorked Fine Wine and Beer Shoppe inside the store from 4 pm – 8 pm on Friday or noon – 5 on Saturday to participate.  Pours are $1-$2 each.

Saturday, July 19th –

  • Cheer competitors on at the Crazy Cardboard Regatta at Voice of America Metro Park, 7850 Voice of America Park Drive West Chester, Ohio 45069.  Teams race cardboard boats that they designed.  The event is from 10 am – 3 pm.  Stop by for racing, food and more!
  • Farmers Market On The Square is from 9 am – 1 pm.  Bring your family and furry friends to 9100 West Chester Town Center Drive West Chester Ohio to purchase fresh bread, produce and other products.
  • The Ohio Valley Big Band is performing at the amphitheater in Keehner Park,7211 Barrett Road West Chester Ohio 45069 from 7 pm – 9 pm.  The event is part of the 5/3 Bank West Chester Concert Series.  The event is free.  Alcohol is not permitted in the park.

All Weekend (Friday – Sunday) –

  •  Schutzenfest is taking place all weekend long at The Kolping Center located at 10235 Mill Road Springfield Township Ohio 45240.  It is open Friday, July 18th from 6 pm – midnight, Saturday from 4 pm to midnight and Sunday from 1 pm – 9 pm.  Enjoy German food, beer, booths, entertainment, rides and games. Cost is $3 and free for kids fifteen years old and under.
