Olde West Chester Christmas Walk – 2012

Olde West Chester Christmas Walk - West Chester Ohio

This Saturday, November 17th is the annual Olde West Chester Christmas Walk. The Olde West Chester Christmas Walk is held each year in the area known as “Olde West Chester” located along Cincinnati Dayton Road in West Chester Ohio. Over the years this event has certainly evolved and this year features a number of local businesses holding open houses, caroling and in the evening they will of course have the traditional lighted luminaries.

Santa will of course be there and at 7:00pm the annual parade will start.  After the parade ends the  West Chester Christmas Tree will officially be lit.

Union Centre Music and Food Festival

The Union Centre Music and Food Festival kicks off this week here in West Chester.  The festival runs from Friday, September 28th thru Saturday, September 29th (although it technically ends at 12:30am which would be Sunday morning).  Live bands and many of the local West Chester / Union Centre restaurants are featured at this years event.

Friday night the band DV8 is the featured act and on Saturday night The Rusty Griswolds are the headliner.  Each day features many other bands as well.

This week’s Foto Friday is the The Muhlhauser Barn in West Chester, Ohio.  The Muhlhauser Barn was re-built in Beckett Park in 2008.  It was originally part of the Muhlhauser-Windish Brewing Company and still bears the Muhlhauser name prominently in its slate tile roof.  The Muhlhauser Barn is available for rental through West Chester Township.
