Homearama 2014 In Liberty Township Ohio

Carriage Hill was ranked in 2013 as one of the top three fastest growing communities for new building permits in the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area. Carriage Hill subdivision is located in Liberty Township, Ohio. The subdivision is made up of smaller “neighborhoods”: The Trails, Sycamore Point, and Oak Reserve. 2014 will see two new neighborhoods developed with 58 new homes, ranging in price from $450,000-$2.2 million.

Carriage Hill was the location for Homearama 2013, and will again be the location for Homearama 2014. This year’s show will be held within the Oak Reserve neighborhood, showcasing 10 beautiful homes. The homes in the show range in price from $1,000,000 – $2,300,000 and range in square footage from 5,000 square feet to 12,000 square feet. The homes sit on .50 acre lots and larger.

Carriage Hill sprawls over a lush landscape of 400 acres with beautiful lakes, streams, walking paths and mature trees. This month was the grand opening of a brand new clubhouse and pool facility for residents enjoyment. Construction is also underway on Cypress Village in Carriage Hill. This neighborhood will feature low maintenance luxury homes for empty nesters and busy, professionals.

LaRosa’s Balloon Glow at Coney Island is being held on July 3rd. Coney Island is located at 6201 Kellogg Avenue Cincinnati Ohio 45230. The fireworks display will take place at 10 pm. Both the fireworks and balloons are free. Normal rates apply for the pool and rides. Parking is $7 before 2:00 pm then increases to $10 after 2 pm.

Fountain Square is the site for the 4th of July Bash. Enjoy a free Reggae concert then fireworks at 10 pm. Fountain Square is located at 520 Vine Street Cincinnati Ohio 45202.

Independence Day Fireworks begin July 4th at 10 pm at Ault Park, located at 3600 Observatory Avenue Cincinnati, Ohio 45208. Music and concessions begin at 6 pm.

Red, White and Blue Ash is being held from 4 pm until 10:30 pm on the Fourth of July. Events take place at Summit Park, 4335 Glendale Milford Road Blue Ash, Ohio 45242. Midnight Special takes the stage at 5:30 pm then Cheap Trick at 8:15 pm. Fireworks display is at 10 pm.

The Fourth of July is right around of the corner! It’s time to find the perfect spot to watch the fireworks displays. The Lowry Team, Keller Williams West Chester found a few shows taking place in both Butler and Warren counties.

July 3rd is Red, White and Kaboom in Fairfield, Ohio. Enjoy Rozzi’s Famous Fireworks, entertainment and food from Harbin Park, 1300 Hunter Road Fairfield Ohio or from the Village Green located at 301 Wessel Drive Fairfield Ohio. The Fairfield Aquatic Center is inviting residents to enjoy the fireworks poolside! Admission is free for pass holders, otherwise the cost is $5. The center, located at 2605 Augusta Boulevard, will have a DJ, food and games. Events begin at 7 pm at all three locations.

Lebanon Ohio has their Independence Day Celebration on July 3rd. From 6 pm until 10:30 pm there will be live entertainment, a petting zoo and food vendors at Colonial Park. Colonial Park is located at 720 N. Broadway Street Lebanon Ohio 45036. The fireworks begin at 10 pm.

Kings Island is always a popular place to view fireworks displays. Their fireworks show will be held at 10 pm on July 4th at 6300 Kings Island Drive Mason Ohio 45040. The fireworks are free for season pass holders. An adult admission ticket for the entire day is $59.99.

The Lowry Team has discovered plenty of Italian, German and Beer Festivals that are taking place this weekend in Cincinnati. The 23rd annual Italianfest at Newport’s Riverboat Row starts Thursday, June 12th. Sample Italian dishes from Pompilio’s, Bella Luna, Raniero’s, Roma’s, Gabby’s, Rappicci’s Gelato and DiStasi. The festival features live music, a pizza eating contest, a cooking contest, games, rides and a photo booth. Hours are June 12th from 5 pm – 11 pm, June 13th from 5 pm – 11:30 pm, June 14th from 11 am – 11 pm and June 15th from noon – 9 pm. There will be fireworks at 11 pm both Friday and Saturday nights.

The 14th annual Mainstrasse Village Original Goettafest is being held in Covington. Cincinnati loves it’s goetta so much that are actually two local festivals devoted to this German breakfast sausage! Head down to Covington to sample goetta reubens, chili, omelets burgers and more. Attendees will also enjoy arts, crafts, music, entertainment and kids activities. Stop by June 13th from 5 pm – 11:30 pm, June 14th from noon – 11:30 pm and June 15th from noon – 9 pm.

Jungle Jim’s 9th annual International Beer Festival is this weekend. The beer festival is taking place at Jungle Jim’s Oscar Event Center located at 5440 Dixie Highway Fairfield Ohio 45014. There will be 350 types of beer from local and international breweries. Cost is $45 if drinking and $15 for those not drinking. Price includes a picnic style dinner of BBQ, chips, salads, and bottled water. The festival is running from 7 pm – 10 pm June 13th and 14th.

Partake in German food, beer and entertainment at the 4th annual Schwabenfest. Tasty treats such as homemade sausage dinners and pretzel sandwiches will be available to purchase. There will be an oxen roast Saturday night. Entertainment includes live music each evening and performance by the Donauschwaben dancers. Schwabenfest is located at 4290 Dry Ridge Road Colerain Township. It is open from 6 pm – midnight June 13th and 1 pm – midnight June 14th. Cost is $3.

Many families look for fun day trips to take with the family during the summer. The Lowry Team suggests The Beach as the first of many “staycation” ideas in this new blog series.

The Beach Water Park located at 2590 Waterpark Drive Mason Ohio 45040 is a fabulous place to go and get away from it all for the day. Located on 35 acres of land in Mason Ohio, The Beach has all the makings of a Caribbean vacation; palm trees, white sand, and waves.

This year, The Beach has new cabanas to relax and enjoy the day in as well as new kids play areas. Another new feature is the zipline that you can soar over the park on.

The beach offers a heated wave pool with a kiddie cove and numerous other slides and attractions. The Big Kahuna is the only water coaster in the Midwest. The 1200 foot long lazy river moves at a relaxing 5 mph for those who want something a little less heart racing. There is an area to play water basketball, beach volleyball and an indoor arcade. Swimming lessons are also available.

Besides the rides and attractions, The Beach has many special events:

Tuesday nights, the water park transforms into Club Splash. From 8:30 pm – 11:30 pm, teens can hang out and dance. Music is provided by a live DJ and a large screen features music videos.

Sundays are Reggae Sundays at The Beach. Enjoy live music from 2 pm – 5 pm at The Stage at Sunset Beach.

June 26th is Cincinnati Reds Mascot Day. Meet the Reds Mascots and get free giveaways.

Drive In Movies begin at dusk on June 28th (Frozen), July 19th (LEGO Movie) and August 9th (Despicable Me).

Regular admission price for The Beach is $28.99 and parking is $8. Park goers arriving after 3 pm will be able to purchase discount tickets for $17.99. Father’s get in free with a purchased admission ticket. A coupon must be provided. Check their website for coupons and special offers.

Money Magazine 2013 has ranked Mason Ohio as 7th in their Best Places to Live – America’s Best Small Towns report. It is the largest city in Warren County and boasts a wide variety of businesses. Schools out, the kids are home and … it is raining! Luckily, The Lowry Team has plenty of suggestions to keep the family happily busy.

Have a little family friendly competition and head to Monster Mini Golf. Monster Mini Golf located at 7058 Ridgetop Drive West Chester Ohio 45069 is a monster themed glow in the dark, indoor 18 hole mini golf course. There is a DJ and also an arcade. Hours are Monday through Thursday from noon – 9 pm, Fridays and Saturdays from noon – 10 pm and Sundays from noon – 8 pm. It cost $7 for kids and $8 for adults.

Get rid of some of that extra energy by jumping around at Pump It Up. Pump It Up located at 7724 Service Center Drive West Chester Ohio 45069 has inflatables and play areas. There are slides, obstacle courses, basketball arenas and more. Pump It Up holds open jumps throughout the week . They offer glow jumps in which they turn out the lights and the arena glows in the dark. Kids receive a glow in the dark bracelet. Glow Jumps are Mondays from 11 am-1 pm and Tuesdays from 5:30 – 7 pm. They also have ice cream jumps where kids receive ice cream cups or sandwiches after they jump and play. Ice cream jumps are held Thursday from 5:30 – 7 pm and Fridays from 11 am-1 pm. Cost is $8.

The Web Extreme Entertainment is located at 7172 Cincinnati Dayton Road West Chester Ohio. The Web has laser tag, go carts, mini golf and mini bowling. Laser tag and golf carts are $8 each for a single pass. Mini golf and mini bowling are $4 each for a single pass. They are open Sunday – Thursday from 11 am – 10 pm and Friday through Sunday from 11 am – midnight. There is a cafe in case you are hungry or you can treat yourself to ice cream from Aglemesis Brothers. The Web offers specials and family packages.

EnterTRAINment Junction is located at 7379 Squire Court West Chester Ohio. They are open from 10 am – 6 pm Monday through Saturday and noon – 6 pm on Sundays. Kids and adults of all ages will enjoy the world’s largest indoor, interactive train display as well as their newest attraction, A-Maze-N Funhouse. The Train Journey costs $13.95 for adults and $9.95 for kids ages 3 – 12. The Fun House costs $9.95.

Mid Pointe Library at 9363 Centre Pointe West Chester Ohio 45069 is open daily from 9 am – 9 pm. There are many kids programs such as magic shows, story time, crafts, games and more. Check on line or visit the library to find the calendar of events. Some events require pre-registration.
